Invaderspace is a multi-use, community, creative space in Sneedville, TN.
We offer:
Student and professional recording services with a professionally outfitted studio. Guitars, basses, drums, synthesizers, and more. Nice monitors, nice headphones, nice microphones…we’re ready for whatever.
An independent movie theater. We’ll screen to about 50 people at a time, and we’ll be projecting in 4k from day one. Film classics, genre film, and film premieres from independent filmmakers. From the strange and odd to tried and true traditional fare, you’ll be able to see it at Invaderspace.
A home to The Clandestine Cinema Society of East Tennessee, a membership based film study group. This is where the real weirdness oozes out. Genre film, exploitation, kung fu, and all the other oddities from cinema history

An arcade with multiple vintage arcade machines and a few homespun, recycling stream inspired creations of our own. We haven’t forgotten. We have vintage pinball too.
Retro console gaming living room. Heavily curated, history forward, creator forward retro gaming content. The future was then, really. It’s time for a true ponderance of the past and present of a multi-billion dollar industry. Are they still right? Are these really good games? Are these fair economic models? Is it fair that I don’t actually own a game? Come play and discuss.
Board games and toys of today and yesterday. Some things are fun in a timeless sort of way. Usually because they were designed well. Whether we’re talking about chess, dominoes, cribbage, or go, interactive role playing games, collectible card games, or Tetris. These cultural artifacts of play are enduring because they’re fun and offer a repeatable type of fun. Come play a game, kindly.
